The relevance of this theme is influenced by existing and sometimes also extending discrepancies between supply and demand at the labour market, i. e. between the structure of offered and required jobs. The presentations of experts from various countries will deal especially with the reasons and methods of forecasting needs at the national and/or regional labour market. The presentations will also provide with information on achieved results of efforts focused on harmonization of supply and demand at the labour market and on links between forecasting labour market needs and vocational education and training.

There will be present about 65 experts from CEI countries, including the Czech Republic. The conference language will be English with simultaneous translation into Czech. The CEI Cooperation Fund and hosting country (Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic) will finance the conference attendance, including the conference materials, conference refreshment, opening cultural event. Foreign participants are also provided free of charge accommodation (2 nights).
