The subsistence paid to experts on missions
undertaken in the course of an EC-funded external aid contract and
requiring an overnight stay away from the base of operations in a
beneficiary country must be a maximum of the per diem rate given below for
each night away. These rates are applicable from 30 th of July
2001.
The per diem rate for a given
country is intended to cover accommodation, meals and sundry expenses
(such as tips, laundry, toiletries, buses and taxis).
